The Most Potent Force in Politics

.
The election is over, results are coming in, and the people have voted for smaller, more accountable government. They don't like the fact that our Congress and Administration have gotten us much, much deeper into debt to save a few favorite businesses; and they don't like the sudden shift toward many liberal ideas such as a huge bureaucratic government health care system, including abortion funding.

The popular will is the most potent force in politics. It can be stifled, controlled, misdirected; but it is the most powerful force. If the people are literate, intelligent, well-informed, and active, then no faction or secret cabal can control the country. They are stymied by the vote in elections such as this; and if it comes down to it, a free people will make war to be free.
